RESEARCH INTERESTS

Comparative public policy, environmental policy and politics, global environmental politics. Mixed methods, multiple methods. Water governance, sanitation and wastewater policy, North American environmental policy, Latin American environmental politics. Cross-scalar dynamics and human-environment interactions, spatial analyses. Networked and polycentric governance across multiple scales, the politics and geographies of waste. Human (economic, urban) and environmental geography, regional development, public affairs, public management and public policy, urban and industrial restructuring, regional spatial changes, land use and urbanization. Climate policy evaluation. Research methods: mixed methods, ethnography, comparative method, spatial analysis, social network analysis.
